This temple is at Ochanthuruth in Vypeen of Ernakulam district. It’s more than a hundred years old. It originated when a photo of Muruga was kept in a thatched shed and pujas were offered. Seventeen families in that area were involved in it. The temple saw a tremendous increase in devotees as they were sure their prayers were fulfilled. The main deity is Lord Muruga. Lord Siva, Goddess Parvathy, Ayappa and Ganapathy are consecrated as subordinate deities. Outside the temple are the Naga Devatas and Navagrahas. The main festival is in the month of Kumbhom for which many elephants are brought.
