This ancient temple is near the Villaappally Registrar Office in Aayancheri Panchayath of Kozhikode District.
It is believed to have been constructed between the 8th and 11th centuries. It is
historically important and one of the biggest temples in North Malabar. It is
unique in that the powers of creation, preservation, and destruction, Brahma, Vishnu, and Sivan, are consecrated in this temple. The deity is referred to as
Theeyannoorappan.
