Some 80 years back the esteemed Padmalayam Sri Krishnan Nair was, for his puja and prayers executing a temple. Sabarimala Dharmashastha was his every God and all. The temple after his demise was conceded to the public. In the model and style of Bhajana madoms, placing a picture of Lord Ayyappa in Mandala Kalam for Puja, Bhajan etc in the evenings was undertaken by the Kshethra Samrakshana Samithi in 1997. In June 2008, Sri Malappattillam Kesavan Nambudiri was taking charge as Melshanthi. With the assistance of Kazhakam Sri Mohanan and the well-joined cooperation of the committee, in the month of Meenam in the year 2010, more the Idolization and everything was over. It was a Thiruvonam date to remember.
