Chakrapuram Narasimha Lakshminarayana Sree Krishna temple is a unique place of worship as three forms of Maha Vishnu are consecrated here with equal importance. The fact that it is built entirely of Krishna Shila (black stone) also makes it stand out from other temples. This temple where worship had been done under puthrom koolom, is one among the eighteen and a half temples belonging to the Thazhakkaatt mana. Sree Krishna is consecrated as the young Krishna with butter in hand. Lakshmy and Narayana, embodying prosperity and protection are consecrated together on the same platform. The fierce Narasimhamoorthy is considered as the presiding deity. The idol is that
more of Maha Vishnu with four hands. The idol is shown as holding the chakra in the right hand, ready for action. The sanctum faces the west and there is a pond in front of the sanctum to cool the anger of the Narasimhamoorthy.
