Sree Bhoothanatha Temple, located in Chathannoor in the Kollam district of Kerala, is one of the 108 Sastha temples in the state. Known as Naiyarukulangara Kavu in the Thottam Pattu (Ayyappan Theeyattu Pattu), which recounts the 108 Ayyappan Kavukal in Kerala, the temple holds historical and cultural significance. In ancient times, it was managed by Kulangara Nair, the local ruler. Today, the temple is overseen by the local community.
