Pananchery Mudikkode Shiva
Temple is situated in Mudikkode near Pattikkad in Thrissur district, Kerala.
Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is one of the 108 sacred Shiva temples in
Kerala. According to legend, the Shivling in the main sanctum, which faces
west, was consecrated by Parashurama, an avatar of Bhagwan Maha Vishnu. The
temple features traditional Kerala architecture, including a Vatta Sreekovil,
Nalambalam, Namaskara Mandapam, and shrines for upa devatas. The temple is
surrounded by lush trees and features a large pond, adding to its serene
ambience.
