This temple is at Amballoor on Mulanthuruthy- Kanjiramittam road in Ernakulam district. The most important ritual here is the Valiya Guruthy offered at noon; in all other temples, it is provided at night. This is held during the festival and scheduled for Sunday, Tuesday or Friday. The priest, seated on the Mandala, invokes the Goddess who faces north into the vessel with the guruthy. After pouring the guruthy, the shine is taken back to the idol and the sanctum is closed. The water, turmeric, lime and the brass vessel in which it is contained, join the effulgence of the Goddess to form the Pancha Prana. This is
