This temple is at Veerpad, Aaralam, in Kannur. It is believed to be one of the 108 famous Maha Vishnu temples made by Lord Parasurama, and hence very old. The main deity is Narasimhamoorthy. The first idol was made of stone which was later replaced by one made of an alloy of gold and copper. Bhagavathy and Ganapathy are consecrated as subordinate deities. The main festival is Niramala Mahotsavam in the month of Dhanu (December)
