Vattippana Sree Vanadurga Devi
Temple is renowned for its many miracles. The temple's Sreekovil (sanctum
sanctorum) is uniquely situated inside a rock (Krishnasila), where the idols of
Lord Ganesha and Lord Shasta are installed. The origin and time of the temple's
consecration are unknown, but it appears to have existed even before the
arrival of a Mahamuni (sage) at Vattippana.
