Sree Poonjilikkavil Bhagavathy Temple

History

Kavungal Sree Poonjilikkavil Bhagavathy Temple is located in Mannancherry, Alappuzha district, Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, and the sanctum sanctorum, or sreekovil, faces east. The temple also worships several Upa Devatas, including Ganapathy, Shiva, Kodunkali, Veerabhadran, Sarpam, and Rakshas. The temple is situated between Mannancherry and Muhamma and originally belonged to Tiruvikkatti Kovilakam. It is now managed by a committee formed by the local villagers.Panchatheertha Parasakthi Sthaanam Erumeli.
