Ashramam Sri Krishnaswamy Temple, located in Kollam district, Kerala, is dedicated to Lord Krishna in the form of Navaneet Krishnan. The temple is uniquely situated atop a mound created from the earth excavated to form the temple pond. Nestled on the shores of Ashtamudi Lake, it is one of the most prominent temples in Kollam. The main deity, Lord Sreekrishna, is depicted holding butter in both palms. The temple's Arattu Mahotsavam festival, known as Kollam Pooram, is famous and is celebrated annually at the Asramam Maidan (Ground).
