Thuppanangattu Bhagavathy Temple, located in Panakuttu near Peruvemba, is a divine place with a history spanning 500 years. Visitors can feel the powerful presence of Goddess Shri Thuppanangatt Bhagavathy. The temple has been renowned for over a century. Each year, the Desa Committee organizes the "Desa Vilakku (Mandalamasam Pooja)" at the temple, culminating with a Chenda performance on the final day of Vilakku. It is believed that on this day, Sri Ootukulangara Bhagavathi, the younger sister of Sri Thuppanangattu Bhagavathy, joins her elder sister in the celebrations to bless all the devotees. Though small in structure, the temple exudes a
more strong spiritual attraction, drawing devotees from various parts of the world seeking the goddess's blessings. The temple is also associated with the system of the Ootukulangara Bhagavathi. The temple priest, a Brahmin named Raman, conducts daily rituals. Morning prayers begin at 5:00 AM and conclude at 8:00 AM, while evening prayers start at 5:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM.
