Mulakkulam Sree Lakshmana Swami Temple, located in Thirumoozhikulam (Moozhikkulam) of Ernakulam district, Kerala, India, is significant in Hindu mythology and history. Mentioned in ancient Tamil Vedas like Nalayira Divya Prabhandham, sung by Sri Vaishnava Alvars such as Nammalvar and Tirumangai Alvar, it is classified as one of the 108 Divya Desams holy temples revered in Vaishnavism. Specifically, it is part of the 13 Malai Naatu (Kerala/Chera) Divya Desams. Legend has it that this temple is where Lord Rama's brother, Lakshmana, worshipped alongside their brother Bharatha.
