This temple is at Mukkam in Kozhikode District, within 3 km from the NIT. The temple is believed to be more than 3000 years old as per the findings of the astrological consultations held in 2006. There have been more than 30 renovations during this time. The last reconsecration and reconsecration was in 2018 after the temple had been lying without any structures and the surroundings overgrown with trees to give the appearance of a forest. Goshala Krishnan is the main deity. Shastha, Bhagavathy and Ganapathy are also consecrated as subordinate deities.
