This temple is situated at Kamukumchery, a village located in Pathanapuram in Kollam district. The village belongs to the Piravanthoor and Thalavor panchayats. The Kallada River passes through the village. This is the main temple in this part. Lord Siva and Goddess Parvathy as Kiratha moorthis are consecrated here. The consecration is unique as Lord Siva, Goddess Parvathy and Lord Vettaykkorumakan, who were born to them, are consecrated on the same platform. One of the largest serpent groves of Kerala is attached to this temple.
