This serene and historic Lord Shiva temple is a heritage site managed by the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB). Originally belonging to a Brahmin family, the temple was handed over to the local community before TDB assumed administration, ensuring its preservation. According to land records, the temple donated land for the surrounding road and a significant portion for the state government school in front of the temple.
