This temple stands in a grove around 300 years old, at Pazhanji, in Ponnani of Malappuram District. The temple belongs to a family famous for treating those who have been affected by poisonous bites. Many people have been saved from death from poison by consuming the holy water and ashes given here. Many offer poojas to please the serpents. There are two poojas every day and a special pooja on the first Friday of every Malayalam month.
