This temple is situated at Chttoor in Palakkad district. The Goddess is consecrated with eight hands in a sanctum facing the east. The Goddess is seen to be in a fierce form. In ancient times this Goddess was also in the Pazhayannoor kavu. When the younger of the Goddesses defeated the Konga King and saved the land, the elder sister decided that the younger sister should be worshipped separately and had her consecrated in front of the Pazhayannoor kavu. The members of the Vysrikandath family perform the pooja rites. The temple is under the Kochin Devaswom Board.
