Padinjare Madom Sree Guruvayoorappan Temple, located in Pattambi, is also known as the Pattambi Padinjare Madom Guruvayoorappan Temple. The Swamiji of Parali Padinjare Madom, due to advanced age, found it challenging to undertake the journey to the Guruvayoor Temple across the Bharathapuzha River. On one occasion, feeling disheartened by his inability to make the pilgrimage, the Swamiji sat by the riverbank, where it is said that Guruvayoorappan blessed him with a divine vision. The primary deity worshipped in the temple is Guruvayoorappan, facing the east, with gopurams adorning the north and west sides of the temple.
