This temple, situated at Indianoor village in Tirur taluk of Malappuram district, is one of the most famous Ganapathy temples in Kerala. It is a Siva temple with Siva and Parvathy as well as Mahavishnu in separate sancta. But the subordinate deity, Ganapathy is the most important for the devotes. It is believed that Naranathu Bhranthan of the famous Parayipetta Panthiru Kulam performed the consecration here. Though many special days are celebrated here, no musical instruments are played at that time as it is believed that the deities of this temple do not like loud noises. The temple is managed by Kottakkal Kizhakke Kovilakam, a branch
more of the Zamorin Kovilakam. The temple is famous for the special naivedyam named Otta.
