This temple is at Kalavoor in the Alappuzha district. The sanctum facing west holds the idol of Sree Hanuman with his hands covering his mouth, as he stands ready to obey any orders from his master Sree Rama. Facing the place where the temple now stands there used to be a Kalari, a school for martial arts. It is believed that the presence of Hanuman was seen in the rose apple tree standing opposite the school. This Hanuman was worshipped in the school along with the other deities. Later a temple was built where the tree stood and
more Anjaneya was consecrated in it. In 1988 a new temple was built and the dilapidated school was made into a Ramayana Mandapa. Today classes for Hanuman Chalisa, Naraayaneeyam, classical music and yoga are held here. Anjaneya homam, which is not conducted anywhere else in Kerala is performed in this temple.
