Kandathar Kaavu Temple

History

This temple is at Kottayi Panchayath in Palaghat district. Bhagavathy is the main deity. Kandathaar is also consecrated here. Kandathaar is believed to be a magician who is shown as standing with hands clasped in worship of the Goddess. The sanctum faces the north.
