Vayillyamkunnu Bhagavathy Temple stands just
100 meters north of Vayillakunnilappan Temple. Dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali
and the Saptamatrikas, this sacred site positions its deity facing north, and
its significance has surpassed that of the neighbouring Vayillakunnilappan
Temple. The temple premises feature a pond to the north, a spacious ground, and
a grand Nadashala. The primary sanctum, or moolasthanam, is situated on the
west side and has been diligently preserved. With a history spanning over 750
years, Vayillyam Kunnu Bhagavathi Temple has become a revered and cherished
place of worship
