This temple is centuries old. The deities are Sree Muthaaramma and Sree Muthambalar who are believed to be incarnations of Sree Parvathy Devi and Lord Parameswara. The temple is famous for the ritual of Manjal kettu which, according to the devotees is sure to bring the blessings of the deities.
