Thuthiyoor is a village in Trikkakkara,
Ernakulam and it shares the boundaries with Chittethukara, Eroor, Kakkanad and
Palachuvadu. The uniqueness of the temple is that, it has been built in
accordance and resemblance to human body structure. The temple claims the
history of more than 400 years. The festival of Ashtamirohini is celebrated in
the month of “Meenam” in Malayalam calendar. The devotees believe that the
bachelors and spinsters who participate in the ‘Rukmani Swayamvara Puja’, will
be blessed with marriage and good family life soon. The various activities like
BalaGokulam, Prasadaoottu, Mathru Samithi and Sevas are being performed under
the temple Committee.
