Kalladathur Temple is situated in the Kappur village along the Koottanad - Edappal road in the Palakkad district of Kerala. Within the precincts of Kalladathur, three distinct temples stand, each dedicated to different deities Kalladathur Shiva Temple, Vishnu Temple, and Bhagavathi Temple. The Shiva Temple, characterized by a circular sanctum sanctorum (vatta sreekovil), holds the distinction of being the oldest among the trio. Facing east, this temple boasts a Shivling consecrated by Khara Maharishi. Meanwhile, the Vishnu Temple, located in the northern part, houses the deity Lakshmi Narasimha. Unfortunately, the main murti in this temple has suffered damage, believed to have occurred during an attack on the sacred
more space. Regrettably, the Vishnu Temple is in a state of disrepair, featuring significant elements such as bali kallukal, Saptamatrikas, and Chuttambalam. Despite its current condition, the temple complex preserves a rich history and cultural significance.
