Vettikkara Nanadurga Navagraha Temple is situated 22 kilometers south of Thrissur city, in Irinjalakuda town, to the east of the renowned Sri.Koodalmanikyam Temple and in close proximity to Irinjalakuda Municipal Park. With a history spanning over 200 years, this temple received official approval from the government on March 10, 1905, courtesy of the then Kochi Diwan. The land for the temple, amounting to 10 cents, was generously donated for its construction. Over the past four decades, the temple has experienced significant growth, thanks to the dedicated service of its former Secretary, the late Sri K.N. Menon. Presently, the temple occupies approximately 30 cents of compact land.
