Situated on the road to Chittoor from Kacheripady junction, this is one of Kerala's most prominent Ayyappa temples. While Lord Ayyappa, as Sabarimala Dharma Shastha is the presiding deity, Ganapathy, Siva, Bhadrakali and Subrahmanya are installed as sub-deities. The temple was established in 1930 and renovated in 1964. Kunjan Swami of Ernakulam donated the Panchaloha idol. Vattathil Ramankutty donated ten cents of land to construct the temple. The temple is open to all irrespective of caste and creed.
