This temple is located in Vyttila, Kochi, where Lord Shiva and Lord Subrahmanya are revered in separate sanctum sanctorums. The idol of Lord Subrahmanya is said to be self-originated. This temple is often referred to as Dakshina Palani, signifying its significance in the worship of Lord Subrahmanya, comparable to Palani. Another temple within this complex houses Lord Shiva, believed to be one of the 108 consecrations performed by Parasurama.
