Nediyathali Shiva Temple is an ancient sanctuary situated between Chanthapura and Kothaparambu in the Thrissur district of Kerala. Despite its modest size, this temple holds immense historical significance. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple's main idol faces west, and it boasts one of the largest Shivlings in Kerala. Constructed during the reign of the Perumakan rulers, this temple is one of the four Thali temples in Kodungallur. According to the Perunna Shila Rekha, King Ramavarma Kulashekara, who ruled between 1090 AD and 1102 AD, sought refuge in the Nediyathali Shiva Temple when his palace and town in Kodungallur were under attack.
