Karikodu Bhagavathy Temple is a centuries-old temple located at Thodupuzha in the Idukki district of Kerala. History says that Vadakkumkoor King had implored and done long repentance and conveyed Kodungaloor Devi to this place. There are several maxims with respect to this sanctuary about how the Devi resulted in the present sanctuary. The structure of the temple is believed to be more than 460 years old. The temple has Shilakannadi installation that is facing towards west.
