This temple is believed to have been consecrated by Sage Parasurama. The four feet tall idol of Mahavishnu faces east. Ganapathy and Shasthav are the subordinate deities. It is situated at Kaypamangalam village in Kodungaloor thaluk of Thrissur district. In ancient times the temple was governed by Vakkayil Kaimal when it belonged to the Ayiroor swaroopam. It is now under the Malabar Devaswom Board.
