This temple is situated at Thottippaal, in Parappookkara panchayath of Thrissur Village. The main deity is Lord Mahavishnu, consecrated in a double storied, square shaped sanctum facing the east. Siva, Parvathy, Ganapathy and Saraswathi are the sub deities. Outside there is also a sanctum facing the east for Goshala Krishnan. There is also the rare consecration of Shaasthaavu, His consort Prabha and His son Sathyakan outside the temple premises. Under the banyan Nagaraja is consecrated. The temple belonged to the Varier family of Thottippaal who had come there from the Perincheri Kuttan Kulangara variyam at Aanakkallu. They brought their deity also to the new place. Later more after a prolonged court battle with the local land lords, the temple was given to Vadakkedath Perumpatapp mana. This family continues to hold the position of the Chief Priest even today. The temple is now under the Cochin Devaswom Board.
