This Bhadrakali temple is at Bharanikkavu in Kollam district. The consecration is in the form of a kannadi shila , ( in the shape of a hand mirror, made of stone) facing north. Nagas and Brahmarakshas are the sub deities. Three pujas are performed here daily. The main priest is from the Neelamana family. Formerly the temple belonged to the Kadalay mana in Kottarakkara. Now it is under the Travancore Devaswom Board.
