This temple is at Puthoor, Sreenarayanpuram, Kollam. Sree Bhadra Devi and Sree Durga Devi are consecrated with equal importance. Ganapathy is consecrated as a subordinate deity within the temple, and Lord Anjaneya, Nagas, Muhoorthy, Yakshiyamma, Chutalakali, Madan Thampuran, Brahmarakshass and Yogeeswaran are consecrated outside. Legend says that the Goddess was the family deity of a Namboothiri illam. One lady from there was going towards Thiruvananthapuram when she came to notice the beauty and holiness of Ayiroor and decided to stay there. She kept the idol of her Goddess in a room in the house. That place is still known as
more Amoommapura. Later, this Goddess was consecrated in the temple. The annual festival is on the day of star makayiram in the month of Meenam Guruthy, and Poomoodal for Durgadevi are performed during the festival.
