This temple is at Neyyattinkara in Thiruvananthapuram district. The remains of an ancient temple existed here for a long time. There was a 5-foot Mahavishnu idol, some lamps and figures of elephants carved in stone at the ancient site. In 2010, a temple was built, and even though the leg was broken, the same idol was consecrated there as per the direction of astrologers. According to archaeologists, the temple must have been established by the King of the Aayi royal family. The presence of stone elephants points to that. The name of the area is Athiyanoor, which also points to
more that. Renovation was carried out in 2025. Ganapathy, Thampuran, Matan and Yakshiyamma are the subordinate deities. The annual festival is in connection with the reconsecration. It is celebrated for ten days, from Atham to Thiruonam in the month of Chingam.
