This temple is on the Thiruvananthapuram – Nagercoil highway at Pallichal. The main deity is Dharma Sastha. It is believed to be more than 500 years old. The deity is believed to have been consecrated by a Rishi as Gaja prathishta. Sastha is depicted as seated in Padmasana with a lotus in one hand. Inside the sanctum on the right side, Lord Siva is consecrated. There is also a pillar facing the sanctum, which is a Siva linga. Vana Durga is consecrated facing the east. There is a Kavu where the serpents are consecrated. Shani pooja is the most important
more offering here. The Panthirunazhi with the agricultural products of the area is also an important offering. The main festival is for Uthram in the month of Meenam. Mandalam, Makara vilakku and the month of Karkadakam are observed with special rituals. The temple is under the Travancore Devaswam Board.
