This temple is at Edagramom in Thiruvananthapuram district. There is a legend about the inception of the temple. In 1739, there was a huge flood in Travancore. At that time, Vilwamangalam Swamiyar was coming in a boat when he saw an effulgence in Idagramam. He realised that it was a sign shown by Lord Ananthapadmanabhan to have Annapoorneswari Devi consecrated there. The local people built a temple at that place, and the idol of the Goddess was consecrated there. The effulgence of Goddess Durga, Goddess Mahalakshmi, and Goddess Saraswathy is in the sanctum. A lamp is lit in memory of
more Vilwamangalath Swamikal in the temple. This temple was also renovated along with Sree Padmanabha Swamy temple during the reign of Veera Marthanda Varma. From that time onwards, the Aarattu of the Devi is also performed along with that of Sree Padmanabha Swamy in the ocean.
