Sree Parameswara Bhadrakali Temple, located at Panangad in Ernakulam district, is a revered temple dedicated to Lord Parameswara (Siva) and Goddess Bhadrakali. The temple also enshrines Lord Ganapathy, Goddess Annapoorna, Lord Ayyappan, Lord Murugan, Brahmarakshas, and Kandakarnan as sub-deities. Originally established as a Kudumbakshetram (family temple), the shrine is unique in that its consecration follows the tradition of the Kodungallur Bhagavathy Temple, with Goddess Bhadrakali facing north and Lord Siva facing east. The annual festival is celebrated for three days, commencing on the day after Maha Sivaratri during the Malayalam month of Kumbham, drawing large numbers of devotees. Special poojas are also conducted every Tuesday and Friday, more when devotees gather to seek the blessings of the divine couple for peace, prosperity, and spiritual well-being.
