This temple is at Eravimangalam in Manjoor Panchayath of Kottayam district. It is close to the famous Malliyoor Mahaganapathy Temple. The temple is supposed to be more than 2000 years old and believed to have been consecrated by Lord Parasurama. The place got the name of Ravimangalam as Lord Subrahmanya appeared before Parasurama with the resplendence of Ravi, the sun, here. This later became Eravimangalam. The temple is under Mattappally illam. The day of Shashti is important at this temple every month. The annual festival is in the month of Meenam from the day of the star Karthika to the day of the more star Pooyam.
