Meloor Sreepuram Sree Sivaparvathy Temple

History

This temple belonged to the Patuthol mana and Kulangara illam. It suffered extensive damage during Tippu Sultan's invasion. The temple remained unopened for a long. Astrological consultations found that the two idols in the temple were those of Siva and Parvathy. Many devotees offer Swayamvara puja. Thiruvathira and consecration day are celebrated.
