Peerumedu Sree Krishna Swamy Temple, situated at Peermade in the Azhutha region of Idukki district, Kerala, is a renowned shrine dedicated to Lord Sree Krishna. The presiding deity is Navaneetha (Vennakrishnan), depicted in a rare and captivating form with both hands outstretched as if yearning for butter, symbolising the divine innocence and playful nature of Lord Krishna. The west-facing idol is believed to have been consecrated during the period when the Travancore royal family resided at the nearby Kuttikanam Ammachi Palace. Kottaram Ganapathy is worshipped as the temple's sub-deity.
