Sree Thripuranthaka Temple, located on NH 966 at Up Hill in Malappuram, is a revered Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Siva in his divine form as Thripuranthaka, the destroyer of the three demon cities (Tripura). The temple symbolises the triumph of righteousness over evil and commemorates the legendary act of Lord Siva annihilating the three cities with a single arrow to restore cosmic balance and protect dharma.
