Ashtamangalam Sree Bhagavathy
Temple, located at Maniyar, Punalur in Kollam district, Kerala, is a renowned
temple dedicated to Sree Bhagavathy. The temple also houses the sub-deities
Rakshass, Raktheswari, Raktha Chamundi, and Nagaraja, reflecting its rich
spiritual traditions. The temple celebrates its annual eight-day Utsavam during
the Malayalam month of Meenam, culminating on Meena Thiruvonam. Other important
festivals and observances include the Kumbha Masam Pongala, Chingam Thiruvonam,
Poojaveppu and Vidyarambham during the month of Kanni, Ayilyam Pooja in Kanni,
and Ramayana Masam. These festivals attract large numbers of devotees and
