This temple is at Neduvathoor, Kottarakkara, in
Kollam district. Goddess Bhadrakali and Lord Siva with five faces are the main
consecrations here. Lord Siva with five faces is a rare consecration in Kerala.
This temple had been open for worship by people of all castes even before the official declaration allowing it. Sree Narayana Gurudeva visited the temple and asked that a school be built there. The school is still functioning. Maha Ganapathy,
Yogeeswaran, Chamundi Devi, Panayilamma, Yakshiyamma and Serpents are also
consecrated here. Here is a Moorthykavu
where special poojas are performed. One of the most important rituals here is
the Pattu pooja performed
more
every Sunday. Pattu is offered to the Goddess for
blessings with a good marriage and good education. Sivarathri is the main annual festival.
Thottam Pattu is offered for seven days. On Sivarathri day, Kettukazcha is
offered. The temple is managed by the Panayil Devaswam Trust.
