This temple is at Thumbakkode Mala of Thiruvambadi panchayath in Kozhikode district. Legend says that when work was going on in the land belonging to Payyoli Mohanan, he got the parts of an idol of Lord Sree Krishna. He informed the local people about this, and they arranged for an astrological consultation. As per the consultation it was revealed that Rishis used to perform penance at this place in ancient times, and this had left an effulgence there. So, a temporary temple was built, and the idol of Sree Krishna, consecrated there, was worshipped. Poojas were performed on the 1st of every Malayalam month, and celebrations were more conducted on the day of Ashtamirohini, the tenth of the month of Medam, Vishu, as well as Bhajans during Mandalam. Further astrological consultation made in the year 2015 revealed that Kirathamoorthy and Durga Devi, in the form of Vanadevatha, were present there, and Sree Krishna was the deity worshipped by the original owner of that land. So, consecration of subordinate deities, Kirathamoorthy, Vanadurga, Ganapathy and Chamundi were made. The land for the construction was donated by the owner, and the temple was constructed and opened in 2022.
