This temple is on the Pathanamthitta–Punalur road, 3 km away from Murinjakallu in the Pathanamthitta district. Siva and Parvathy, as Ardhanaareeswara, are consecrated in the main temple. Ganapathy, Dharmasastha, Subrahmanya, Brahmarakshass, Naga Raja, and Naga Yakshi in the Sarppakavu and Lataguru are the subordinate deities. In astrological consultations, it has been revealed that the land here belonged to brahmins in ancient times. Then it came into the possession of their dependents and servants. One person among them worshipped the deities as well as the effulgence of Vishnu. He is now worshipped here as Ladaguru. Devotees worship here for education, health, marriage, relief from diseases and the more prosperity of the surrounding areas.
