Sree Puthukulangara Bhagavathy Temple

History

This temple is on the Salem - Ernakulam Highway at Alathur in Palakkad district. It is believed to have existed five centuries ago, according to available information. The annual festival is celebrated on the day of the star Atham in the month of Meenam. It is celebrated jointly by Kattussery Desham and Puthiyangam Desham.
