This temple is at Neerad in the Malappuram district. The temple is believed to be centuries old. The round sanctum of a huge size makes it unique. There are many beautiful sculptures and other architectural wonders in the temple. It is also an example of communal support and harmony. In the olden times, the Muslims of Kondotty had to go to Tirurangadi for their Friday prayers. They approached Thalayur Moosad, who owned the temple, for some land to build a mosque. The Pazhayangadi mosque was built on the land given by the Moosad. The temple is in a locality occupied mostly by Muslims, and they have
more been contributing much to the renovation of the temple, which started in 2015. The temple is under the Malabar Devadwom Board.
