Kattathrakavu
Bhagavathy Temple, located at Kadamakudy in Kochi, stands as an important
spiritual and cultural landmark, often regarded as the gateway to Kadamakudy.
Maintained by the Kudumbi community, the temple holds a special place in the
local traditions and heritage. The presiding deity is Bhagavathy, worshipped
with deep devotion by the surrounding community. The temple’s main festival is
the Theeyatt Ulsavam, celebrated during the Malayalam month of Kumbham over a
period of five days, featuring traditional rituals and vibrant cultural
performances.
